The P-280 delivers an ultra-high resolution signal, crystal clear low noise-floor and vacuum tube warmth. The perfect combination for today’s demanding recording environments. The P-280 employs our unique tube/FET combination amplifier stage to achieve the quietest noise-floor we’ve ever encountered in a tube microphone. The miniature pentode tube keeps the circuit’s signal warm and pleasing, never brittle or strident. The even frequency response, crisp detail, and dead quiet noise floor bring astonishing results from almost any source. It has an assertive gain level, and easily handles very high SPL sources. A balanced output achieved through a generously sized output transformer. The body and head grille are machined brass with a sleek black finish. The new Peluso P-280, a new standard for today’s widely diverse signal chains.

The Peluso P-67 is styled after the vintage Neumann U-67. Produced from 1960 to 1971 the legendary U-67 is a key part of the classic sound of albums of the late 60s and early 70s. The shape of the dual mesh head grille and glass EF style pentode vacuum tube are part of what enables the P-67 to very accurately achieve the sonic qualities of a U-67. The P-67's capsule has dual 34 mm gold-sputtered diaphragms. The P-67 features two switches on the microphone body. A low frequency roll-off switch decreases the low-end gain and can counter the proximity effect of close range vocals. A -10dB pad switch for lower gain can be used with close range brass, guitar cabinets, drums or other high level sources. The P-67 is a highly functional and versatile microphone. Professional engineers know the "67", ask anyone. The P-67 is paired with the Peluso MX-56 power supply. Microphone Cables The microphone cable can have a profound effect on the sound of any microphone. Even the finest microphones will sound poor if the interconnect cable allows noise to enter, or causes distortion and degradation of sound. Use only the best microphone cable to obtain the optimum performance from your microphone. Care & Protection Dust and foreign material can degrade the performance of a microphone over time, so always store the unit in its case. Remove fingerprints from the exterior with a camp soft cloth.
