IBP Analog Phase Alignment Tool line/instrument selects between the line level xlr input on the rear (unity gain) and when pushed in the instrument in on the front (hi Z 10M with gain) for using as a direct box. Earth lift lifts the ground (pin 1)of the output xlr. Phase adjust bypass does just that, bypassing all phase adjust circuitry and allows you to use the IBP without phase adjust, as an active DI or when using the line input, a transformer isolated line driver. Phase invert is a simple polarity reversal as you would find on a mixing console out is 0 degrees, in is 180 degrees. Phase adjust 90 degrees /180 degrees selects between two stages (button out) or one stage of phase adjust. This allows a more extreme phase adjustment with a full swing of as much as 180 degrees or a less extreme 90 degrees of phase adjustment. Phase center lo/hi selects between a higher bandwidth phase adjust (button out)and a primarily lower frequency phase adjust (button in). This and the phase adjust button create the phase curve. It is important to note phase is frequency dependent and is different than time. For example depending on the two sources you are combining, and whether one source is direct and one is miked- between room reflections distance from the cabinet etc. determines what the curve would need to be. (e.g. you need to get the G note in phase as well the A note). Phase adjust knob determines the degree of phase adjust. On the rear of the unit you have a re-amp instrument level out. This will, when line level is selected bring the +4dB balanced signal down to instrument level. This output is affected by the phase adjust when selected. When instrument is selected the re-amp out is an instrument level output that is affected by the phase adjust(and can be used in a stomp box type mode). The level trim for the re-amp can be reached with a standard trim tool.

IBPJ - IBP Junior - Analog Phase Alignment ToolThis IBP Junior was designed to put the power of phase control in the palette of the creative audio engineers hand. Although most mixers and preamps have a phase-reverse switch, a simple 180-degree change in a signal's polarity may be more phase change than you need in a particular situation. The IBP Junior allows continuous control from 0 to 180 degrees over a mono signal. This allows to fine-tune the phase relationship between a miked guitar amp and a DI signal or a pair of drum mics. The result of such precise control can be as subtle as an increase in presence or as obvious as higher gain and an improved transient response.Features
- Continuosly variable natural phase adjust.
- Line level balanced XLR in and out.
- Audiophile sound and construction.
- Rack mountable, 4 units fit in a 1U space.

The PCP Instrument Distro signal splitter, router and DI is a master of many trades and could easily be an integral part of a personal studio that tracks live instruments. As a splitter it allows sending high-impedance signals to three separate destinations without a loss in audio quality or sound coloration. So one guitar signal can be sent to three amplifiers and recorded simultaneously. But it is not just for guitars, basses, and keyboards. The PCP can also be fed with line level signals - such as a previously recorded track - and routed to some vintage gear or stompboxes. With the integrated DI the low-impedance signal of the stompboxes can returned for rerecording. The PCP Instrument Distro can also be used as a line driver, helping to maintain the timbral quality of instruments over long cable distances and with the active DI output any instrument can interface pro-level gear. Each output has its own trim control, phase switch, and ground lift. Quarter-inch inputs and a matrix of controls are readily available on the front panel.Features
- One to three-out guitar splitter
- Three transformer isolated guitar level/ high-impedance outputs
- Phase reverse, ground lift and level adjust on each output
- Audiophile DI
- Guitar line driver
- Three line level inputs for re-amping
Pepper is a flexible multifunctional device and designed as a central hub of connectivity for engineers/ guitarists, interfacing pro gear and guitar gear, either direction, seamlessly. Including a DI and re-amping functionality with parallel chains for blending instruments, pedals and pro audio equipment, Pepper is indispensable in every phase of production whether in the studio, or live.
The Little Labs Pepper provides a Hi-Z instrument input with adjustable input impedance to accommodate all types of pickups. The impedance can be set from 100 kOhms to 2.2 MOhms and 10 MOhms with the load switch off. The output section comprises of two DI outputs with instrument and mic-level outputs for re-amping applications and a third line level expansion output for interfacing with other professional gear.
In addition to the DI functionality Pepper delivers two hard bypass inserts for pedals and pro audio gear. Both inserts can be controlled by an external footswitch. The balanced pro insert has independent level controls for send and return and a phase reverse switch to ensure absolutely correct level matching between the insert in and out for best result when reamping. On top of that Pepper has a unique blend control for mixing the pedal and pro effects with the dry instrument signal to offer a new way of sound design guitarists.
Pepper uses state-of-the-art analogue circuitry with a high fidelity input amplifier, fully differential amps and vintage UTC style transformers, ensuring ultimate transparency, ground isolation and hum free performance.

The Red Eye 3D Phantom is a passive direct box/re-amp box with unique expansion capabilities. The high quality passive direct box in the Red Eye features phase reverse and earth lift. By a push of a button the Red Eye converts into a re-amp box with its own input and output connectors. The re-amp in the Red Eye features earth lift, phase reverse, and level control. In DI (direct box) mode the instrument / re-amp out on the front of the Redeye 3D works as a thru signal so a guitar amp can be simultaneously feet while supplying a signal from the rear xlr to the mic pre and DAW or a tape machine. In re-amp mode the instrument / re-amp out on the front of the Redeye 3D signal comes from the line level output of the DAW or tape machine (converted to HI z guitar level signal) to feed a guitar amp. The heart of the original Red Eye was a Little Labs custom wound transformer. This transformer was chosen for its sonic characteristics and is made with the same core material and winding technique as the legendary UTC transformers found in many classic pro audio devices. The Redeye 3D features two of these excellent transformers for simultaneous direct box and re-amping use. The Redeye direct box contains also a very high quality, hi fi, phantom powered, high impedance (1MO or 10MO) instrument buffer. When using the Redeye with sensitive passive or piezo pick ups, this high quality buffer assures no tone change from loading will occur. With active pick ups or the sound of a passive direct box is prefered, the Redeye 3D direct box can be used passively as well.Features
- Simultaneous vintage transformer direct box and re-amping tool
- Compare direct and re-amped signal with one button
- Phantom powered super hi fi buffered or passive direct box inputs
- What you heard is what you will hear easy re-amping operation
- Easily interfaces pro gear with guitar gear and vice versa
- Rack mountable 4 redeyes fit in a 1U space
- Expandable for daisy chaining redeyes to feed multiple amps or pedals
The STD allows you to use long microphone cables or microphone tie lines to extend your guitar or any instrument cable without the loss of tone and increase of noise associated with long instrument cable runs. It also has two outputs for splitting between two amps or between an amp and a direct injection box, with a selectable ground lift on one output to eliminate ground loop problems.
The STD is a perfect solution for: the live player who is tired of the tone sucking wireless rigs but still needs to be able to walk more than ten feet from his amp; the studio player who needs his amplifier in isolation, but himself in close proximity to his band mates; the recording engineer using control room rack mounted direct injection boxes with a player located in the studio or isolation booth.

Single transistor buffer technology
Reduces cable noise susceptibility while preserving tone
Sonics of a 10ft. “Boutique guitar cable” in a 80ft. run
Dual outputs for feeding two amps or an amp and a Direct box
