32EQ

Great River EQ-1NVOne Channel Equalizer Classic LC topology with modern discrete technologyThe EQ-1NV (one channel equalizer) greatly modernizes the classic British “1081/1083”-type design. This “desktop” (and rackable) digitally controlled analog parametric EQ offers similar topology to vintage 1081/1083 models, but with welcome improvements. Newly designed Class-A discrete single-ended amplifiers and true inductor/capacitor (L/C) circuitry add greater clarity and dynamic range to the musicality of the vintage-era models. The EQ-1NV also has a unique discrete high-current Class-A balanced output stage. To make life in the studio (and on the road) easier, the EQ-1NV has been specifically designed to integrate with the patch loop in Great River NV Series microphone preamplifiers (with a single TRS ¼” cable), for complete flexibility in tracking and mixing. The front panel input selector / sensitivity switch offers the option of using the signal from the EQ-1NV's transformer-coupled line input (ranging from +8dbm to -20dbm), or the patched signal from the NV preamp. When connected via the patch loop, the four EQ sections are inserted between the microphone (or DI) input’s first gain stage (with level control and metering) and the preamplifier’s output gain stage and "big iron" transformer (also with level control and metering). This routing flexibility provides a broad range of sonic/harmonic possibilities and maintains a full Class-A signal path.Features:One channel, discrete Class-A designMultiple In/Out connections: XLR balanced line in and out; ¼" -10dbV output for 'no-latency' DAW monitoring; TRS ¼” insert patch point for NV Series mic preamp (inserts EQ between NV preamp gain stages)Wide range of input sensitivity from +8dbm to -20dbm with selection between line in and insert patch point4 bands independently enabled with +/-15db boost/cutHi and low bands selectable between peaking and shelvingHi-mid and low-mid bands each have 3 selectable Q positions3rd order selectable frequency high pass filterHardwire bypass of equalizer sectionInternal low-noise shielded power supply (externally selectable for 110 / 220 volt; 50 / 60 Hz)Specifications:Balanced +4dBU & -10dBV Unbalanced I/OMulti-purpose: operates with NV Series preamps and as a standalone EQEffortless sound shaping and frequency manipulationFlexible band use; 1,2,3, or 4 bands can be used simultaneouslySimple pushbutton selection between Q positions and peak/shelfHalf-rack-space with internal power supply

Great River ME-1NVThe ME-1NV (single channel mic preamp) greatly modernizes and improves classic British design. This desktop (and rackable) preamp offers the same definitive sonic fidelity and expert craftsmanship as all Great River products, with the ability to fine-tune gain effects like 1970's-era 1073's. Transparency and vintage harmonic structure are both achieved with NV-Series preamps. The ME-1NV achieves new classic performance status with two discrete Class-A gain stages (the dual gain-stage meters are a Great River exclusive), a front-panel DI input jack which is routed via FET through the input transformer (also unique to Great River preamps) for must-hear-to-believe sound from all Hi-Z instruments, and a discrete high-current Class-A "big iron" transformer-coupled output amplifier. The ME-1NV is a fundamentally important audio tool that brings out the best in every microphone and instrument.Features: Multiple In/Out connections: XLR balanced; ¼" -10dbV output for 'no-latency' DAW monitoring; high-Z input on front panel (disconnects mic input): TRS ¼" insert patch point for compressor or equalizer ahead of the output amplifier Adjustable gain stages: input in 5db steps to 60db; output from -25 to +10db; maximum overall gain 70db; 2 to 3 stages of single ended solid state amplifier gain blocks, depending on gain structure; high-current 70ma Class A bias on output stage Input and output meters on each channel (dual-stage metering is a Great River exclusive) Front panel switches: polarity; phantom power; input impedance (1200 / 300 ohm); output loading (600 ohm resistor across output transformer) High quality, custom wound Sowter transformers Gold plated switching contacts Internal power supply 110 or 220 volt operation with external selection, either 50 or 60 Hz 3 year warranty with registration Half-rack-space with internal power supply 'Big Iron Vintage Sound' from custom-wound transformers 'No-latency' output monitoring for DAW users High-Z input is ideal for bass, guitar, and sound modules (FET-buffered and routed into the input transformer, a Great River exclusive) Gain stage monitoring via dual meters (also a Great River exclusive) Ultra quiet noise floor for outstanding performance at any gain setting
Great River MEQ-1NV Preamp and EQ Channel Strip DetailsThe Great River MEQ-1NV is the Great River channel strip – discrete Class-A, incredibly versatile. The EQ-1NV (four-band parametric, true inductor/capacitor, ’70’s British “1081/1083”-style) is routed via the patch loop jack on the ME-1NV (two-gain-stage, dual-meter, '70's British “1073”-style mic pre).In this configuration, the EQ is inserted between the mic preamp gain stages, providing a wide range of gain-based effects. With higher input gain / lower output gain, the EQ sections can be driven slightly harder for increased harmonics; with lower input gain / higher output gain, the EQ sounds very transparent. With its ultra-high headroom and ultra-low noise floor, the MEQ-1NV is an indispensable tool for modern recording.Great River MEQ-1NV Preamp Features Multiple In/Out connections: XLR balanced; ¼" -10dbV output for 'no-latency' DAW monitoring; high-Z input on front panel (disconnects mic input): TRS ¼” insert patch point for compressor or equalizer ahead of the output amplifier Adjustable gain stages: input in 5db steps to 60db; output from -25 to +10db; maximum overall gain 70db; 2 to 3 stages of single ended solid state amplifier gain blocks, depending on gain structure; high-current 70ma Class A bias on output stage Input and output meters on each channel (dual-stage metering is a Great River exclusive) Front panel switches: polarity; phantom power; input impedance (1200 / 300 ohm); output loading (600 ohm resistor across output transformer) High quality, custom wound Sowter transformers Gold plated switching contacts Local power supply regulation on each channel 110, 220 volts, either 50 or 60 Hz operation with external selection 3 year warranty with registrationGreat River MEQ-1NV EQ Features One channel, discrete Class-A design Multiple In/Out connections: XLR balanced line in and out; ¼" -10dbV output for 'no-latency' DAW monitoring; TRS ¼” insert patch point for NV Series mic preamp (inserts EQ between NV preamp gain stages) Wide range of input sensitivity from +8dbm to -20dbm with selection between line in and insert patch point 4 bands independently enabled with +/-15db boost/cut Hi and low bands selectable between peaking and shelving Hi-mid and low-mid bands each have 3 selectable Q positions 3rd order selectable frequency high pass filter Hardwire bypass of equalizer section Internal low-noise shielded power supply (externally selectable for 110 / 220 volt; 50 / 60 Hz) 3 year warranty with registration

The MP-500NV is a professional quality microphone preamplifier designed to re-create the vintage sound characteristics of the early 1970s large consoles. Modern components give the MP-500NV more clarity, punch and performance under normal use. In addition, features like metering before and after the major gain stages let the user drive it 'hard' to greatly expand the range of sonic options. All microphones will benefit from the power of the MP-500NV preamplifier, including dynamic, condenser and especially ribbon types. The MP-500NV uses the same audio and metering circuit board found in the NV series preamplifiers. This unit is designed to fit into a '500'series rack using 2 available slots. It receives its power supply from the host rack. The unit is equipped with a HI-Z instrument jack that has its own input amplifier and was designed for 'DI' applications. All specifications and performance details are identical to the NV series preamplifiers with the exception of size, weight, patch jack, -10dBv Out.
500-Serie Kompressor / Limiter
