Lynx Mesa

Mesa is a Thunderbolt 3 desktop audio interface and a standalone, professional-quality analog-to-digital converter. Its form factor is ideal for everything from home and project recording to productions in commercial recording facilities. Compact and portable, the Mesa features four analog microphone/line/instrument inputs and two analog line or monitoring outputs, as well as two headphone outputs with independent level controls. Mesa combines the mastering-grade audio quality of the Aurora(n) with the intuitive touch control of the Hilo 2 in an ergonomic desktop enclosure that's always in sight and always within reach. The Lynx Mesa features a high-contrast capacitive touchscreen user interface, similar to the Hilo 2, making it perfect for use remotely. The included Mesa Control software also allows remote access to all Mesa functions. Thanks to the built-in microSD recorder, Mesa can be used as a primary or backup recording device, which is very useful for live and remote recordings. Designed for musicians, sound engineers, live sound technicians, and users who demand the best in pristine, detailed audio, Mesa offers the same level of audio quality and transparency as the highly acclaimed Lynx Aurora(n). Other uses for Mesa include on-site recording, live performances, panel discussions, film and video production, and more. It can also be used to play back previously created content, which can be done either via the built-in microSD recorder or the Thunderbolt 3 connection. Mesa's combo inputs accept microphone, line, and DI signals, allowing users to directly connect instruments such as electric guitars, basses, and keyboards, as well as microphones, with selectable inputs per channel. The line and monitor outputs are provided via balanced TRS connectors (6.3 mm stereo jack). Designed for professional applications, the Mesa also features coaxial S/PDIF inputs and outputs and additional optical TOSLINK connectors that support either S/PDIF (2 channels) or ADAT (8 channels). Mesa also features a word clock input and output. Lynx Mesa is compatible with all digital audio workstation (DAW) platforms on Mac and Windows, including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, GarageBand, and others. This universal compatibility makes Mesa ideal for music and audio producers who want to work flexibly and seamlessly with multiple DAW systems.
