The monitor features the RAM-XL amplifier with DSP, delivering two 750W channels to the 12″ woofers, 400W to the 5″ midrange, and 250W to the 1″ metal dome tweeter via a proprietary Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW), providing an extended frequency response from 29 Hz to 21 kHz (-6 dB).
The 3 RU RAM-XL amplifier module uses Class-D topology, enabling rapid system configuration and automatic room response calibration for quick and accurate monitor installation. Integration of multiple monitors is possible through Genelec Loudspeaker Manager Control Network (GLM) technologies. The monitor has analog XLR and AES/EBU digital inputs, plus an AES/EBU digital thru/output for chaining monitors. The display can be positioned vertically or horizontally by rotating the mid/high unit 90 degrees.
